Following the release of their critically acclaimed third album, “The Ceiling”, and a run sold-out UK headline dates, Birmingham dream-pop group JAWS have shared a new single called “Anyway, Now’s Not The Time”.
Taken from the sessions in which they recorded their new album, front man and guitarist Connor Schofield describes the single as: “The song was originally meant to be on “The Ceiling” but didn’t feel right at that moment, in the time since we realized that it should see the light of day as its still one of our favorites from when we we’re putting the record together.”

The new video follows the band’s latest singles “Do You Remember?”, “FEAR”, “Driving At Night” and “Please Be Kind” as well as their recent video for ‘End Of The World’, which saw them team up with Brooklyn Beckham for his directorial debut and Louis Berry, earning plaudits from the likes of British Vogue, Grazia, Just Jared, Metro, NME, London Evening Standard, BBC, DIY, MTV, Clash, Gigwise, Dork and more.

As well as the new single, JAWS will also begin another UK headline tour this month with dates starting in Bristol on 15th November. The tour follows their sold-out headline shows earlier this year, which included a blistering performance at London’s Electric Ballroom.
Speaking about the reaction to the shows, Schofield says “The recent live dates were the biggest shows we’d ever done and the reaction was beyond what we’d ever expected, every night was like a celebration of the new record and what we’d achieved up until that point and now we want to take that same atmosphere to more places around the country, we really can’t wait for these shows, there’s a few places we haven’t been to for years.”
